The closest thing we have to an actual battlemech right now. We actually already have the means to produce bipedal walking fighting machines, but they are not practical. A modern MBT or attack helicopter would take out a mech very easily. They only have cool factor, but very limited battlefield practicality.

Also why does Russia look so rundown in footage I see recently. It’s like they don’t have anymore equipment. Old helmets, hoodies and jackets. Not uniforms. I see videos of Marines deployed for weeks and they’re in full tactical gear, while some of the Russians I’ve seen blown up by drones and whatnot look like goons in tracksuits. What gives?

Это российские? Нет, блин, африканские. Меня удивляет то, насколько мужики под 50 лет не разбираются в военной технике. не удивлюсь если некоторые из них еще и в армии служили. Ну ты что вообще не интересовался никогда военной техникой? Как же так. Ты же мужик. Я в 20 без армии знал, больше, чем он в 50 с армией. Ну ты же видишь по конструкции что это Ка-52. Это видно даже в его низкокачественном видео. Откуда у Украины Ка-52 да еще и в таком количестве? А количество Ми-8 полетевшее в первом фрагменте, дает понять, что это явно не Украинские вертолеты, просто потому, что у нас в Украине, их всего, на всю страну, дай бог штук 20 на начало военных действий.

I got the feeling this was more of a training mission than actual combat. The way the squads were maneuvering and bunching up just didnt strike me that this was front line footage. Still, interesting.
